Whats the greatest day in a guys life?
I just got my drivers license today :jump: :rocking: :tu: :yeah:.. I took the test in my mom's 03 Durango, and I'm kinda curious to hear what you guys took your test in, whether it was yesterday or 50 years ago.
A 65 Ford F250 in 1970, I was 14. The examiner was a little, your taking your driving test in this?
Took the test in my mom's 1998 Ford Explorer. That was 11 years ago I guess. This will be really telling of everyone's age haha.
1992 beat up Nissan pickup. Drove for 6 months till dad quit shoeing horses. I hated driving it cause it was so small.
Took mine in my old man's 95 12v back in 97 I believe.....O YEAH!
Took mine in my dads 03 F-350 4 years ago
I took mine in a 73 Gran Torino sport, loved that car, that was back in 83
Had to use a friends 1988 Oldsmobile 98. My dads vehicles had bad windshields (worked in the oilfield :D) This was 13 years ago.
Took mine in my Dads 01 Crew cab superduty V10..
:humm: Took mine in a real classic............... 1978 Ford Fairmont:se:
Can't remember.....:humm:
So I'm guessing there wasn't much of a wow factor. |
I never took one my parents did the tought at home option but I drove a 97 f-350 4x4 ex cab long bed hand shaker. I miss that truck it was 5 almost 6 years ago.
If it's the greatest day in your life a couple years from now, I feel sorry for you.
I took lots of driving tests in my truck. I eventually just gave up. I've been driving full time without a license for over five years now. |
Took my test in a 1987 Mercedes 560-SL 2 door roaster back in '04... it was my grandmothers car, man that thing would move :rocking:

Wow uh...2008 in a student Ed 2004 chevy impala. If you took student ed you saved money with insurance so it was a no brainer and they offered it at my high school
3 yrs ago in my 12valve used to have that was my dads at the time, that poor instructor thought i was crazy,it was to big for parreral parking test so i got to run over cones for fun:choochoo:
03 f150, instructor was horrible:argh:
I used our 92 Ford Aerostar van and it was about 5 years ago. I remember getting my permit after driver's ed on 6-6-06. 6 months or so after that I had my license at age 15.
first time in a 72 VW bug 1976, second time after DUI 88 ford tempo 1993 :ouch:
I believe we got driver's ed. at school in those days, car unknown. I already had a motorcycle license, so I didn't have to take the written test again. Probably in a big ass 1978 Checy Impala Station Wagon.
I'm older than most, took mine in a 1967 pontiac GTO. Tester thought the exhaust was a little to loud. Bought that car when I was 14 with cattle I had sold. Mom drove it till I was 16. She sure hated to give it to me. That wasn't the greatest day, it was probably when that 15 year old girl friend got rid of my blue ball syndrom I had. Probably could have tore down a house with that thing back then!
Took mine when I was 16 in an 04 Epedition in mesa arizona my bro and sis's use a dodge peon. I refused to use that POS for my driving test.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Took mine when I was 16 in an 04 Epedition in mesa arizona my bro and sis's use a dodge peon. I refused to use that POS for my driving test. And how can you fail a Driving test takes five minutes I had to do a 3 point turn and parrallel park and drive a couple of miles. |
First try at 14 was in moms 86 (I think) Colt Vista, I failed :td:
Next day was in dad's 90 F350 crew cab 4x4 flatbed 5 speed, (What I was used to driving) passed with flying colors. The test lady had to use a block to get into it. |
