Well finally got the grizzly loaded in the pick up and went out and did some long awaited riding. Had a hell of a labor day weekend. Good friends, good views and good food!

Man I took old honda to the red river is was so nice. I need to get up in the mountains soon

 

Nothing like mountain riding. Just soothes the soul!

 

How far is that from you? Mountains and you dont have to put up with the cold like we do up here.

From Las Cruces NM where I live now its about 160 miles. I grew up in Capitan and I go up about twice a month because my folks still live up there. It snows and all the good stuff but It definitely doesn't get below zero much if at all.

Just a interesting fact Ruidoso NM which is about 20 miles southwest of Capitan in Lincoln County has the southern most ski area in the U.S., also Lincoln County is famous for Billy The Kid and Smokey Bear.
