I had just got to boys & girls club before school 3rd grade a friend of mine came and grabbed me he was in a teachers class room watching he news then it happened we sat and watched..... Scary day it was the school all the base kids went to so all of them were soon taken home that was when it got freaky.
It's hard to believe it's been 10years almost, it seems like it was just a few days ago.
God bless all the families and friends of the ones who lost there life's that day!

Wow some of you are youngins...
I was driving to work up in the mountains at a ski resort (Hoodoo for any of you locals). It was about 4:30am and I was listening to the radio. Heard the DJ come on talking about a plane crashing into the WTC.
First thing that came to my mind was "this guy is going to get fired, you dont joke about **** like this"... Listened for another 30 minutes or so and then got out to jump on the D-8... Didnt hear a thing further for the day until I started coming down off the mountain.
Sometimes I think its not as real for me as others because I didnt get to sit there and watch all the horror.
Worst part for me that day was coming home...
I walked in the door and my wife was on her knee's in front of the TV (6 months pregnant with our daughter) crying, my son (not quite 2) was standing behind her with his hand on her back. He did not understand what was going on. Only that his momma was very sad and this would help.
I have no idea how long she had been there, but her face told a very sad story.
Went back to work the next day and next day and next day... Sad, but I never got to really watch the news about it.
RIP all those lost that day, and all the armed service members lost fighting back against the bastards that did that.
