I know what should be next.

The light under the hood should come back as well as the light in the glove box.

Sub-contract the vehicle design and production to the guy who designed the door dinger.

That should elminate most every problem, 'cept that pesky need for the OEM to get us to buy new vehicles.....

While true, they could have has these lights work off of a plunger that is hooked to a switch. Much the same way the interior lights some on when a door is opened. It is more the fact that each generation of vehicles cost more and seem to offer less of the simple amenities that should be on every vehicle.

I wish they would just bring back somethin like the old Power Wagon. Just a truck with notin extra except power to spare. I just can't get into these cadilacs with a bed instead of a trunk. In my world all this stuff is, is more things to break and tear up while I'm workin.
