I hate to shave.....
 

so I'm 27 years young and I hate to shave, been doing it for 13 years now and I just dread shaving every day. the only time I ever enjoy shaving is when I treat myself to a hot shave at the barber, if it wasn't for 15-20 a pop I'd just go and have it done everyday....if you've never had a wet shave with a straight razor you don't know what your missing, I find it very relaxing and have caught myself drifting off while this 65 year old man has a razor to my jugular. I think I'm going to go old school and start wet shaving myself, first start with a classic double sided razor and then maybe move up to a straight, anyone else wet shave here? I know it's almost become a lost art but I'm thinking I'm ganna bring it back for me and hopefully teach my son how when the time comes..... Im 19 and have to shave once a week. I cannot will the hair to grown any faster..... it sucks.

just wait .... that shit will start growing like weeds, shit sometimes I even find myself shaving at night to if the wife wants to go out.

Once a week when i shave my head. mach3 does the trick.

I hear u dude shaving sucks been doing it for like 4 or 5 year dan my father hairy a$$hole lol but luckily I just keep a beard and shave my chin neck area once a week and I'm only 18 lol

X2 on the twice a day sometimes! It sucks I had a 5 o'clock shaddow when I was 16! It was cool though lol girls liked it

I noticed this morning when I got up that I had very little stubble, now I need to shave or I'm gonna get itchy. I have to shave every other day at the latest otherwise I'm pushing the limit for work. I'm supposed to keep clean shaven for the most part, can keep my mustache. Before I started there, I had a nice mustache and goatee goin on :rocking: They made me shave my goatee and I was not happy about that :td: But since I needed the job it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.

what type of work?

I'm a bagger at the local grocery store, so I have to look presentable. The "limited" facial hair is just one of the stupid policies.

I use a Norelco tri-cone. If I fail to use it every 3 days, I get the pleasure of tug and pull.

My barber gives me the wet shave to sometimes when i get my haircut. :tu:

I use the same clipper that I use on my head. I have to shave every other day if I want it smooth. Clipper every week or two.:tu: Wife hates it though.

I hate shaving as well, so I rarely do. Only on special occasions does the razor come out. Instead I use a trimmer without a guard every 3 or 4 days.

If I don't shave my stubbles will scratch my wife's :edit:

When I worked in the refining industry we had to shave every day. It sucked ass. Now that I am back in school I just shave once or twice a week.

I do the same thing Ryan. I hate shaving so i just quick trim and the girl hates it but it dont bother me

I shave a couple times a week. I don't have anything against shaving. I don't enjoy it but I don't dislike it either.

My facial hair doesn't grow in that well so I'd rather shave than look like the idiots that can only grow a pencil thin mustache. Besides, I have dark brown hair and my facial hair is more blondish red. It just looks funny.

If I don't shave my face, I'll look like cousin IT from the AADAMS FAMILY TV ACRES: Creatures > Cousin Itt (The Addams Family)

Another reason I like being a welder, apperance dosn't really matter at all! I usually trim once a week or so with clippers, I can remember having a gotee that hung out of my helmet!

I tell her it just makes it even more of a special even if I do shave! :tttt:

I am with most of you guys, I hate shaving. But work has regs saying I will be clean shaven except a stash if I so choose. Hell, even my sideburns have to be trimmed to mid ear level. But when I have time off work ire use to shave. Grow out a bad ace beard in a few days

ZZ TOP for me, wind up using more shampoo fot the beard than for the hair, really confuses the kids around Christmas time,,,,,,

I don't, I just trim it when it gets caught in my zipper.

Thank God I just Graduated high school, I would get detention at least every 1 or 2 weeks for not shaving, every now and then in school suspension, and for stupid stuff I could shave the night before have a shadow u couldn't feel and get in trouble.

Guess I got lucky after years of shaving every other day and shaving my head every week my body got the hint and now my hair grows so slow that I shave my head every 2-3 months and don't have to shave but once a week or so if I want to. :jump::jump:

Hold the phone, your school had a policy about male students shaving their face? I don't care how you look at it, that's wrong. I would have intentionally NOT shaved. If I ever have a son that is in a school like that, I will have a field day with it.:bat:

My hair grows in kind of slow, i haven't shaved in a week and 4 days and its just long enough to be able to grab with my fingers. But it only grows on the stache and on the chin and below it on my neck, none on the sides of my face :argh:

I have to shave everyday without fail. But once it gets to the point of being ugly, it stops... Pisses me the hell off.

When I was in the Navy I had to shave every day. :td::dang: Since I left it it's 2 or 3 times a week. The wife kinda likes the shadow, 'designer stubble' she calls it. But if it gets too long, which is usually after a day, she hates it. Too scratchy she tells me. :w2: I don't mind shaving, but if I have to every day I get bad razor burn/rash. :nope: Maybe with my new job it'll be back to every day but i hope not.

Being in the Military means shaving every day, I have tried every kind of razor and shaving cream over the past 8 years. I love a straight razor shave, but I haven't got the courage to try it on myself, or the money to get a good set up. The best shave I have been able to find is an old double edge safety razor, Picked it up for $20 at an antique shop, and blades are cheap. Add a mug some soap and a brush and with a little patience you will get just as good of a shave as the barber and his straight razor for a lot less money.

hot shave its the way to go, just head to a populated city, find a barber shop that offers it and pay a complete stranger to hold a straight razor against your throat, really nice experience:tu:

Im a truck driver and the company I work for believe it or not has a no facial hair policy. I dont think its right but it pays the bills. If you come in with even a shadow they will send you home and you get wrote up. I hate shaving too.
