To my limited knowledge a Scrambler is just a Jeep with a longer wheelbase (bed). But it still has a top that covers the interior of the Jeep. Although some people have put on 1/2 cabs to make it more trucklike, you still have a partly open bed. The converison Kevin is talking about turns a Jeep into an actual pickup truck.
