came across this today anyone got an idea why in the hell you would need this dangerous *** thing? bet it cuts wood like an SOB

It's for cutting bedrock for larger commercial style building construction that have multiple sub-levels.

Much easier than trying to backfill and supports the building better.

You cant over excavate in areas like that, and this allows you to use one bank as your form for basement concrete and such.

ah ha so you cut a little then back scrape leaving a smooth wall interesting

I wonder what that cab glass is made out of bobcats with the masticator attachments have to get a bulletproof front glass conversion and excavators get lax-an over covering

It doesnt move that fast, its like a rock trencher... Just slow and steady.

Embankment saw, Trench saw... About 30 different things.

I only ran one once doing some fiber work in the city.
