Problem is, Wolf ain't so cheap anymore and prices are rising quickly. I found a reciept from 5 years ago for the 1st case of Wolf I ever bought (Cheaper Than Dirt). Howz $69.97 for 1000 rounds sound!
I try my best not to buy from Cheaper Than Dirt. They did some price gouging on alot of items, including ammo, a few years back. If it's an item I can't find elsewhere then I'll buy from them ..... but if I can find it someplace else then I thumb my nose at them. |
yeah and they're shipping rates can be high if you buy a 1.95 item, be prepared to spend 7.95 or more in shipping

What happend with your deal with them? What the hecks up with Ammoman - AR15.COM Here's a cut/paste from a site staffer: He blatantly misreprented a product then refused to correct the transaction when confronted with his deception. Because he attempted to defraud a member of this website, we kicked him off. He proved himself to be a dirt bag and is not welcome on AR15.com. And another thread to what actually happened: Screwed by AMMOMAN.COM aka Discount Distributors - AR15.COM I recently placed an order for a Chinese SKS "Vietnam Bring back" , well worn (as described on the website). I had read the description and looked at the photos and the price was within reason so I purchased it. I opened the package immediately after the UPS delivery and upon visual inspection everyhting was as expected EXCEPT-----It is import marked plainly on the barrel. Within 15 minutes of being off the UPS truck I emailed and asked politely for a return/refund as the gun was not as advertised at all. I stated I was not angry, that mistakes happen and all I wanted was a refund and instructions to complete a return. The email was answered with an emphatic NO REFUNDS ON FIREARMS. They "wont take the risk of missing parts". I was offered a $100 credit because "they will take my word for it". I then called ERIC and told him NICELY, that I wanted to talk about this and he states he will not refund or allow a return and that his site states no returns on firearms. He told me again, $100 or nothing and if that is not good enough I should take any other actions I feel are needed. I had previosly told him I wasnt angry and now he lit my fire and I called him something like a scumbag rip off artist and he slammed the phone. I have no problem with the return policy EXCEPT when an item is blatantly misrepresented. He told me I should have asked if it was import marked. Well why would I, he is a major supplier and his add clearly states "We stand by all of our descriptions" and if it is marked it is not a Vietnam Bringback". I certify this statement is 100% correct and true. This was a blatant ripoff and he has no business ethic to stand up to his mistake. If anyone has any advise as to other actions I can take to get my money back I wouldappreciate it. I paid by a Postal Money Order. |
