what places have the cheapest music downloads?

The millions of places to download it for free?


Or are you looking for cheap legal music downloads?

I didn't think there was any free places anymore. I tried limewire but they are in legal trouble.

Free but illegal would be something you need to find, or get with friends that have DRM free tunes that they already have acquired.

Cheap would be iTunes, Wal-Mart used to do downloads, Amazon does some downloads.

Downloading entire albums is cheaper than singles, but you end up with some songs you might not want.

If you people are honesty worried about illegal music downloads then you shouldn't be on here.
Millions of ppl download from what used to be limewire every day.
Use frostwire or utorrent. You get the full album in one download.
Just search the album name, the torrent after it.

LOL!! Really? I'm sitting on over 51,000 MP3's ...... stuff like Top 100 for The Year (I have over 30 years worth), special edition albums and box sets, overseas releases with songs that the US release didn't have, etc..

I'm not really worried about the legalities of my collection. I am, however, worried about giving away my sources since its become tougher to download stuff and not get caught.

I used to be into KaZaa, Morpheous, LimeWire, BearShare, Napster before the lawsuit, and a few other places like USENET groups. Torrents are the place to be today, but keep in mind that ISP's are monitoring those and you might get that "letter from your ISP" saying they'll cut off your internet.
