Boycott Dynomite Diesel Price gouging customers
Lenny Reed, Owner of Dynomite Diesel is TAKING advantage of the Bosch National Shortage of Dodge CR injectors by adding $500 to a set of 6 Just because they are in shorter than usual supply.
Sounds like a good time to screw your customers who have stayed with them through thick and thin times. Some quotes were given early on the 24th, stated one price, later under direction of the owner that quote was hiked up $500. He said, cause they are harder to get people are willing to pay us more. So pay up (my retirement) or tough luck. It should be suggested that truck owners patronize vendors that don't RAPE their customers. (without a kiss)... :dang: |
race trucks arent cheap :w2:

Yup, trucks ain't cheap....And they cost more if you deal with people who are opportunist and screw customers just because they can... Try... Those inj. didn't cost them more, they just figure... Like when a hurricane hits a city, and Home Depot starts charging $50 for a sheet of plywood or the store charges $10 a gallon for gas. Just because they are unscrupulous, thieves. |
have you tried a differnt vendor. Dynomite isnt the only one who sells CR injectors. what about forum classifieds. you can get great deals on some slightly used parts

I wasnt defending Dynomite Diesel. Lose the attitude or this will go away. |

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Woody;; Its the principal of it. Besides I don't want used ones. I can get them elsewhere. I only want 6 new ones. Guess I could deal with II. instead. |
I believe it's called "supply and demand" Just sayin. :w2:
I do not condone it one bit but have taken economics classes in college. |

If a business gives me a quote and I accept, they can't turn around and change it retroactively and expect me to just accept it because their costs went up .... they're gonna have to eat the difference. Kris |
MarineOne;
You are so right! If a mans word is NO good, neither is he. Its just poor business practice. A futile attempt to gouge good customers, by taking advantage of the people who help pay your bills and help support your way of life. Shameful. |
not to jump in and defend him (a jump of 500 is way to much) but what happens when injector prices go up and u bite the bullet on your quotes...ur out the money...then u have to go up what every it cost ya to get injectors...then your gunna go up a little more to make up what ya lost..
as said above they arent the only ones making injectors if you feel this way then dont buy from them and spread the word (like you are) |

I don't know why one would want their injectors anyways. Even at the lower price they are still way more then anyone else.

You're all right. Its not a good business decision. Why? Because I just bought them from someone else. I own a couple businesses, and if I quote a low price I eat it... If you're not good at your word, your word is not worth a $hit.
Its smart to (in advance) think about what you need $. Then you quote accordingly. But giving a price then the owner says NO. He said "People will PAY more because these are hard to get. Is wrong. I wish them (DDP) the best. I deserve better and I found it elsewhere for way less money. Money IS POWER! Spend yours where they treat you right! Moral of this story: Some businesses have NO morals. Spend your money where they treat you right.. Stick with them until they no longer do the right thing. DDP is NOT responsible for the BOSCH shortage. But, responsible for taking advantage of it. I'm over it. Buyer beware.. |
I believe I said "I do not condone it" in my first post. Don't misconstrude what I'm saying. I simply stated the law of supply and demand. If you don't like it, don't buy from them....EVER. That is what's great about this country, freedom of choice. Count your blessings that you HAVE the choice to voice your dissatisfaction of a company out in public. I DO NOT LIKE THE PRACTICE OF PRICE GOUGING OR QUOTING AND GOING BACK ON IT ONE BIT. It is what it is.
