tuner/programmer for Toyota Tundra
 

My dad recently drove my 6.0L F350 with the Innovative Diesel xtreme street tune loaded up. He liked it so much he was wanting to know if there was a tuner he could get for his 2000 4.7L V8 Toyota Tundra. Does anyone know of any out there on the market?:humm:

There are some items available but offer much less performance. I will however say that the toyota tuners do better than ones available for dodge, ford or gm gas burners.

yep, as lucas said gas tuners don't net you the gains diesels tuners do but there is some. I know that teh gas 6.0 gm's get woken up pretty damn good too. i bet alot of teh sponsors on here can get your dad a tuner too. Ask around in the price request section.

i been reading that its hard to find a tuner/chip/programmer for tundra because toyota has the pcm locked up so tight its nearly impossible to get in and manipulate the system. the only thing i've found is a product called "unichip". you install it in the path of signal transfers between the engine and trucks computer and it intercepts the signals and manipulates them. kinda like "faking out" the computer.:humm:
