I've yet to get a ticket. (I'm 17) last year I got pulled over for speeding but was let off with a warning.

rednekroper05 02-18-2011 12:39 PM

Ha the best one I didn’t get a ticket for was when I was coming back from south Texas after we dropped of some trucks for TBWEF and it was me and three people of Hispanic decent that I worked with and got pulled over and i was asked to step out of the jeep. the trooper questioned for about 10 mins on who they were and where we were coming from.

rubberfish 02-18-2011 12:41 PM

I'm 45. I drive for a living and haven't got a ticket
in over 17 years. And it's the norm for me to be
doing at least 30-40km/h over the limit everywhere
except schools and playgrounds. I'm way over due for
a ticket, so it'll be no surprise when the day comes. :humm:

My first ticket when I was 16 was for doing 163 in an 80.
At the time there was no "excessive speeding" ticket and
your first 3 points were without a fine. So it was completely
free. Now I think that could net you some jail time. :scare2:

1st_gen_puller 02-18-2011 03:38 PM

My first ticket was a CNI (excessive smoke) cause the cop was tailgating and it was dark and i didnt know it was a cop and fogged the road out in front of him!!!!! lol then last year i was at our state fair and the guy that won the 2.6 class pull.. ended up beside me at a stop light... well we all know what happens next.. i topped a hill hit sixth and was just spoolin up around 18 lbs or so... when i saw the lights... got a 104 in a 65 that night.. not to mention all the tickets in between.. my lawyer loves me,... lol

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i also got a CNI due to excessive acceleration..... i was taking off from a stop light... the kicker is no BS i was behind a geo metro... lol with 3 ppl in it!!!! lol

cummins95 02-18-2011 05:42 PM

i was 16, 83 in a 55. got a ticket for disobeying traffic control devices.
when i was 19 i got pulled over in NY for no turn signal and doin 96 in a 55, verbal warning.
another when i was 19, no inspection or registration, bald tires, broken windshield, n for not havin a flag on the pipes that were stickin 10 feet out the back of the bed haha. the cop told me to take the truck home n park it n to have a nice day.
i've been pretty lucky so far i guess lol

burbach 02-18-2011 06:28 PM

i got a reckless driving ticket on an air force base.. back when i was 20 for doing a gigantic burn out in a parking lot.. a real slap on the hand ticket.. just got a talking to about it and that was it

Rob_wells06 02-18-2011 08:22 PM

First ticket was 6 days after I got my license. I was 17. For evading. County line was 1/8 mile away and was already speeding and saw the lights behind me and punched it. Hit a back road right after the county line, pulled over in a gap in the woods. 45 seconds later he blocked me in. I lost my license till after my 18th birthday. :tu::tu:

brindle_bull 02-18-2011 08:39 PM

gwhammy 02-19-2011 06:52 AM

Does no drivers license at 14 on a motorcycle count? It was my first ticket!

RAW 02-19-2011 06:58 AM

Within 6 months way my first ticket, and I didn't get pulled over. Some cranky old lady called the cops enough about my truck being too loud. It was a '87 Chev truck, dual 2.5" blue bottles. I was in high school at this time as well, and got called into the office. The cop was in the principals office, and wanted to know which truck was mine. I said the black Chev, he looked out the window, turned back, and handed me the ticket! :dang:

Most at one time was 4. Undo care and attention, open alcohol, too many passengers then seat belts, and speeding.

sorry man but i am dead serious and the cop asked what my father did far a living and when i said safety director to one of the biggest trucking companies in the states he flipped out

cougar 02-23-2011 11:08 AM

Got my first ticket in 76 at the age of 20, it was for unsafe start and exhibition of speed. Plead not guilty and went to court. The judge recognized the cop was being a richard after I explained what happened and the tickets were thrown out. A year later, same cop. Speeding, reckless driving, and resisting arrest. Went before the same judge and pleaded no contest. Reduced to 10 over the limit and had a privet discussion with the cop. No more tickets, just harassment from a sheriffs department. That ended when they stopped me and my passenger happened to be an off duty highway patrolman.

A buddy of mine hasnt had his license for even two years yet and he is up to 14 tickets.

BRE 02-23-2011 02:45 PM

19 years old and been pulled over once in my car. He couldnt make anything stick because he couldnt see me, all he did was hear the car but, i know he heard my buddys twelve valve as well. I was behind him and when he let into the truck a little I pulled down a gear and let her have it. Little town so i knew who he was. He was parked at his mom and dads standing outside talking and when i went by (doing the speed limit) he come flying out of the driveway. He had a few choice words for me and then i noticed his kid was in the car with him. Im not even real sure he was on duty, but still had his uniform on. But that is the only time since 16. I am lucky because between the street races with dad and friends outside of town and the late night runs home on the motorcyle and stuff i should have had several so knock on wood lol.

DuramaxakaDTD 02-23-2011 03:03 PM

My first was one month before my 17th which was street racing and went to court and got it dropped to a moving violation only 160 dollars

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Cody has 14 tickets!? How does he still have his license for the second time...

5.9Bronco...eventually 02-23-2011 03:47 PM

Knock on so much wood its not even funny. I have never been pulled over. I have only been involved with the cops a couple times. Once when I had a wreck, I got away from a cop that was going to pull me over, and I was with a buddy racing and someone called the cops on us but they couldnt prove it was him because they didnt turn in the plates.

I have also been very fortunate that A. the cops in my town like me and B. the sheriff in my town is scared of my dad who might have threatened him for illegally pulling over my sister haha. I would be scared too. My dad is 6ft 8in and prolly 300 lbs ha. I am also very keen on being able to spot cops in daylight and night time. I pride myself on that. It has kept me and many friends out of a lot tickets. Hope you all have a good one and take her easy. Also hope and wish you all dont get pulled over soon. Repeat Knock on a lot of wood. Luckily my desk is wood ha.

1st ticket

Must have been pulled over 5 times before I actually got a ticket. Think I got my first one when I was 18.... Usually for something like 70ish in a 60. Ended up having about twenty tickets on my record by the time I was 23. Most expensive was $500 reckless for spinning my tires leaving a stoplight in my big block 72 gmc. The one that surprised me most was in South Dakota. 121 in a 75 zone and the ticket was only 90 bucks. Last ticket I got was 90 in a 55 on my Buell. It's been about 4 years since I have gotten a ticket, so maybe I have finally become responsible......
