Huuuge snow fall coming, potential $$$ to be made?

So excited. This wedsday we are expecting 12+ inches of snow. And with snow comes inexperienced drivers. Last snowfall, maybe 3 inches there where cars everywhere in ditches, off the roads.

So this time I'm going to prepare. I'm goin driving around wedsday morning with my tow strap and 4WD engaged :)
Usually ppl pay you when they get out.

What are some ways to make some extra cash to pay for gas and other necessities? Besides shovelling and plowing, I don't have a plow lol

Pulling people out that are in need is a great thing to do:tu:
:humm: Only thing is now a days you have to be careful. If you should happen to damage some ones car pulling them out they may come after you for damage:nope::s:

Yea that was brought up in my head a few times.

It should be like the good citizens act/clause of waterever....if someone is choking and you give them the hiimlike manuevrr and u break their ribs or cause more damage, they can't sue you because you where only trying to help

You can also get ticketed for it as well. You are liable and your insurance won't cover you if something goes bad.

I think that is a law now (In Wisconsin), that legally you can't pull someone from the ditch:humm: Isn't Red? I still do it if someone is in need:w2: I just say screw it I was helping someone. A good person would pay my fine and say Thank You:tu::c: Pretty sad these days when you try to help and you get in trouble:nope::s:

this wouldnt work for you but down here in tx (im in a college town) ppl dont know how to and dont want to drive in snow so i offer rides
10 bucks gets u where u wanna go (in town)
20 bucks and im ur personal driver for a couple of hrs

That has been a law here for alil bit. Not saying people follow it but it's possible to be busted.

i dont know about yall but in tx you can pull ppl out all u want but the second u try to charge (not the money you get as a thank you but actually charging) then u can get the fine. my understanding of it is the second u charge you become a wrecker and that requires a license.

Law enforcement will usually leave you alone down here especially if its a significant amount of snow. Anyone who has been to Texas has seen the signs "Keep Texas Beautiful". Cars littering the ditches doesn't look to beautiful so they leave you to your business as long as your not tearing up the grass or pavement too bad. :rocking:
