REDNECK ENGINEERING

Let's hear some of the things done through the amazing feats of Redneck innovation! Pictures if you got em'!

Everything around me is redneck engineered. For starters the exhaust on my truck is currently being held in place with bailing wire.:w2:

How about this one! A buddys brother- in-law was moving and had his truck loaded plus his race truck on a car trailer behind him when he broke down in the middle of nowhere. so my buddy takes his care trailer and goes to rescue him. They loaded up the broken down (loaded truck) on the car trailer with the other car trailer and race truck still hooked to it. so 1 toyota with auto tranny towed 2 car trailers and two more toyotas down a 6% grade and another 40 miles home!

a toyota could move that...im impressed...lol

I've got bailing wire holding my exhaust on my NEW truck :choochoo: in one spot. Only cause I'm too lazy to fix the hanger.

I seen a school bus that had been converted into a gooseneck camper.

rubberfish 01-04-2011 07:18 PM

I'd be embarrassed to tow that down the street. lol lol

Redram01 01-04-2011 09:14 PM

I was out driving back roads when I seen it.

rubberfish 01-04-2011 09:18 PM

It's kind of cool what you see cruising back roads and allies. :tu:

when one of my dads old drivers wreck my 95 he ripped my old exhuast off,so to keep from blowing smoke all over what ever i was towing i used some pvc pipping as an exhuast till i got my stacks

At least they have some skills!
Are the wires colour coded?
By the way- nice horn arrangement below the fender.

Same boat here on the exhaust.

Also have a homemade alternator bracket out of angle iron and one of my radiator hoses is made out of stainless pipe. Its a pretty nice piece of work, has two different angles in it and also reduces down at one point. And not a leak :tu:

Its freaky how at home I feel in this thread. Stuff I see (and do lol) everyday of my life.
