Even though I'm super super excited, My life has already been flipped upside down! I'm pregnant. Which I 100% understand is different than caring for a child after birthing one! I haven't felt like myself in over a week.

I asked my husband last night if he himself could tell I was pregnant, and he said:

"Yes, you look like crap."

:argh:

Trust me the hormones are raging, I have refrained from killing people the last 3 days! ...I'm asshamed to admit this...but the other day we were finishing our Christmas cards, (since he FINALLY bought me some stamps) and I'm writing something in a card, and I turn around, and he put the stamps on all the envlopes, and I wanted to put the stamps on, so... I started crying.. my husband just looked at me...u could see his face...it was plastered with fear. he was like....umm.. I'm sorry. Then being in Alaska, there's snow on the ground 24/7.. so we have a boot scraper and what not... I know I CANT keep all of the snow out.. but he went into the bathroom, ( and I'm already running to the bathroom as it is gotta tinkel) and I'm waiting on him cus I can hear him pulling up his pants.. ( and I had socks on from just getting home) and I stepped in his snow puddles and I yelled at him from trackin in snow... then started crying cus my socks where soaked. lol Trust me..the hormoes are there.

And not ONLY is this a blessing of a Christmas gift, Our 2nd anniversary is Monday!!!! Hell ova anniversary gift too! This is the best Christmas ever!

My Daddy is sooo excited, ehh.. I mean "Paw Paw"

Being as we DID have fertility issues, it increases my chances of misscarriage, so If any one is a prayer, I'd very much ( and baby Pumkin too!) would appreciate a prayer for my pregnancy to stick..... I do have an undying feeling that everything will be okay!:c:

Dr. Evil 12-18-2010 02:38 AM

Good luck to you Dana. We just had a baby girl. What an amazing experience and the best Christmas gift ever.

bosslady 12-19-2010 09:52 PM

I was placed on Metformin 800mg. My body was producing too much male hormone to have a regular menstral cycle, but once everything returned to normal less than 3 months later.. we were blessed.

bosslady 12-21-2010 02:55 PM

We actually already have names sat in stone. We don't plan to find out the sex of the baby before the baby is born. There are very few things left to suprise anymore.

Actually, My child is VERY likely to come out bald, or soo blonde the baby will look bald. I was born with light light light fuzz. and the husband was born bald. ( i always wanted a child with dark hair and blue eyes..o well haha)

We are assigned Elmo afb. in anchorage ak... as you know, in the AF you don't just do your job, you often do multiple jobs. He works on AWACS, at the best AWACS squadron in the AF :) ( he was hand chosen for this base):rocking:

Aw common! :spit: Gwen and I are not getting any younger. She is 36 and I am 35, so if we decide, that we would like to have children, and there are possible problems, I like knowing what works. I was just inquiring not trying to cause a uncomfortable situation. Next time when something like this comes out and I have a question, I will PM you. Thanks for reminding me that some things do not need to be out in the opening. LOL :c:

Rustin, What was wrong with me not to have kids without medical help, and what could POSSIABLY be wrong with your wife, im pretty sure are 100% unrealated.

Your wife is just in advanced maternal age, She likely will only take longer to get pregnant ( doesnt have as many healthy eggs left)

I had a MEDICAL reason for infertility. I'm no where near "advanced maternal age" I'm peak fertility. haha (and by some, prob a lot, way too young to be a mama) But this was a very very planned baby, so you can say, I'll get what I asked for.

Thank you everyone for the warm wishes
