Direct TV

SUCKS, they have the absolute worst service of any company I have ever dealt with. I have had them at my house 5 times trying to fix "freeze frame" since June (when my service was installed. Today a tech came out and repeated the same steps that the other techs have already done. I told him that was not going to work, he said it would. He left and I had the same problem less then 5 minutes after he left. I called Direct TV and they told me that he was supposed to replace the dish, the receiver and replace the wiring if needed. They can come back out next week if I wanted them too at no cost.

I told them if they are coming out to my house it will be to remove the dish off my house and install one of their competitors. They then informed me that I will have an early termination fee, I will have to return the 2 HD DVR's that I paid 799.00 for at Best Buy and my dish would be ok on my roof as they consider the dish my property, but the receivers are theirs even though I paid for them. I only paid for the ability to lease them.

BULL HOCKEY, I told them to note the account, I am not paying the fees, I am not returning the DVR's and I will not ship the boxes back to them until they remove the dish from my roof.

THEY SUCK.:madd::bat::fu1::fu1::fu1:

They may all suck but Dish Network is installing all new wiring, all new HD DVR's and a new dish Thursday for no out of pocket, as well as saving me 10.00 per month with more channels. I had Dish Network for 3 years and never had any problems, I only switched to Direct TV for the 400.00 discount on my TV. I got screwed.

That sucks big time. I have to admit that I love my DirectTV and they are less than cable for all the channels that I have. I will admit, at first I had problems, but it was due to them using contractors.

we got dish cuz they are bundled with embarq...big mistake...took forever to get set up and wants to go out at the drop of the hat. DirectTV I had no problems with. I think it just goes by your area

had cable, switched to Direct TV, 2 days later got cable back, whole lot easier to sit down and watch w/o having to get up on the roof to adjust the set. but the Picture quality of dish is sooo much better. but I don't have a HD tv so it really doesn't matter if i use cable.

But if there was a Dish that could work in bad weather, id get it:U:
