Movie Maker Is Driving Me Krazy
Last week I made a 23 minute movie using Windows Movie Maker. When I go to save it to a DVD I keep getting a incorrect DVD type error. Ive tried every type of DVD made (DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW) and keep giving me the same error. OK. Then I save the file to my computer as a Windows Media Player File. I have a program that converts that to my DVD. The problem I am getting is that when it saves the movie to my computer as a Media Player file its not saving all my pictures. It plays about 4 minutes of pictures and music then it stops on one picture and continues to play the music WTF? I have tried it 5-6 times and it does the samething.

Go into the options under tools and see if there is a setting to determine the record and save format.

Nothing there about save format. Just checked. When you go to save to computer there is a list of different ways to save it. I have tried 6 of them so far and none of them save my complete movie. 1 of them saved 19 minutes of my 21 minute movie but thats as close as I can get. But when I went to burn the 19minutes to DVD it only burned 4 minutes of it.

I'll talk with our IT Director Monday and see what he thinks.

I'm going to try the Windows Photo Story 3 next and see how that works.
