Ebay sellers

I saw a trailer on ebay I was kinda interested in but there were no dimension's listed, so I click the ask seller a question button and ask " What is the width between the fenders and the length of the deck ? " Today I get his responce " The deck is diamond plate (wich I knew from reading the listing) it is about 7 or 8 feet wide, and 17, or 18 feet long" :WTF::asshat::ph: I could guess what the dimensions are by myself. I guess this guy dosn't know how to operate a tape measure, or isn't to interested in sellin his trailer. Anyways, just thought I would share this here's your sign moment with everyone :c:

eBag is a quagmire of scammers and idiots trying to sell either worthless junk, or way overpriced good stuff. Maybe 5% of the listings are decent stuff from honest sellers not trying to rip you off.

That sounds about right. I was looking at a truck awhile back and I asked the guy what the gear ratio was because i wanted 3.55's. His response was"What does it matter what the ratio is. This truck will pull anything and get in the mid 20's doing it." You can probably guess who I didn't buy a truck from.

I got suckered into one a these trailers with no exact dimensions listed a few years ago. Wondered why I got it so cheap. I drove all the way from Illinois to Oklahoma to pick up a trailer that was to wide to be street legal. Wouldn't even fit through the toll booths so I had to take back highways home.

There is alot of scammers on e-bay,:scare2: make sure you pay with paypal or credit card I've had to make a report to the FBI once & two reports to e-bay about sellers not shipping the items I bought:dang:

Large ticket item's like a trailer I would only pay cash in person after inspecting to make sure it's in the condition described. I only had a problem once on ebay I bought a cell phone of a guy in California and when I went to get it activated I was told it was stolen and couldn't be activated. Luckily I paid with paypal and after a monthlong runaround I got my money back. Too bad I wasn't with DB then, I could of had one of you Cali bombers pay that guy a visit. There's a lot of reputable sellers on ebay but like anywhere else these days theres also dishonest scammers. You gotta pay attention to the feedback. :c:
