Begle1's new laptop! 2048x1536 baby!

2048x1536 on a 12.1 inch touchscreen. :choochoo:
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...Screenshot.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...creenshot2.jpg Native resolution is 1024x768, so I can only see one corner of the screen at once; that means that I can have four windows open at once with no overlap and scroll between them with the mouse or touchscreen instead of Alt-Tabbing. Yeah, I multi-task like that. |
Yous shoulda put this in the *!$% thread so we coulda said "*!$%in sweet dude"
|
that is nice :yeah:
|
Does it have that Apple "nipple squeezing" feature to expand/contract the view?:w2:
|
No.
I'd like a "desktop customizer" program that would let me do something like that though, or maybe let me snap the screens to the quadrants of my desktop. |
I love Wall-E

nice begle

I know I'm a little slow, but wouldn't you want a bigger screen if you're going to divide it up into 4? I can barely read my laptop as it is:humm:

Yeah tell me about it I have a compaq mini. the screen size of it is 10 in.

So that means that I can open four 1024x768 windows on the same desktop, and I can only look at one at a time. So instead of alt-tabbing between windows, I can just scroll to them across across the desktop. Notice how the screenshot of the desktop has the full picture of WALL-E and EVE, but the actual picture of the laptop has only a portion of it. |
I don't 100% follow, but I think you just confirmed me being a little slower. So you're saying it doesn't divide the screen into four small screens but rather you can scroll over to a new screen? Like it has four screens at once but you can only see one at a time??

I can only see 1024x768 at a time. But the desktop is 2048x1536. So at any given time I can see 25% of what is on the desktop. So I can open up four windows, and just move the mouse from one window to the other. |
I get it now:ouch:
