Me flying with the shuttle
 

We were in the Cutlass 172RG

You can't do this any more since 9/11 more reasons to turn the place to glass, so this day launch at the end was the last Shuttle Launch anyone could be in the Air with.

Ok so we start with a night take off to the 101th Shuttle Launch back to a great landing, I took out the 16 minutes we had to wait with all the traffic in the air coming back.

Then the day launch of 102nd, I wish the video showed all the colors we were seeing that day, I hope you enjoy it.

At least I can say I was there for the 100th launch, man you could have walked to the coast with all the planes up there, the towers and planes with radar just turned them off, their screens where over loaded with targets.

On the way back from the 100th after the second plane tried to drop on me I said were getting out of here and went and over flew Disney to let the fools get out of the way.

And then the last one here was the last flight that was allowed with the Shuttle the 102nd launch, hell since 9/11 the price to fly went through the roof, so I haven't been in a long time, the 100 dollar hamburger went to 200 bucks, but then my pay went down mmmmmmmmm.

Thats awesome Herb, thanks for posting. I gotta find a video camera with audio inputs so I can hook it up to the intercom. It makes the videos more enjoyable without listening to the noisy airplane

I didn't even try, that's a suction cup mike I had stuck to the earphones and it works well most time,might have put it back on a time a two but kept the noise out as it's focused on suction cup side and made for using for recording phone calls.

That way you have to worry about matching impedance to the com so it doesn't take out the cam sound.
