Some Pictures From A Search And Rescue I Was In...
 

As some of you know I am a local Fire Fighter... We had a Search and Rescue call for a boater that fell off his boat late Monday night. Searched until about 2AM went home for a few hours of sleep and then went at it again until e found him. My boat is the one in the Video were we are leaning over the rear... and also the one where the people and the Search and Rescue dog are on the front. The news refers to us as neighbor's but that was me and other firefighters on board...

good job...............I know its terrible to have to do this but it still must be done....................I have been involved in the VFD and a few recoveries myself and it aint fun

Drownings are the worst... I don't know why but they freak me out... I was just happy we found the guy for the family... I grew up around the area and while i did not know the guy I knew his Brother.

i'm with you on the drowning thing too. seems like a horrible way to go. only thing worse is burning to death IMO.

Thanks... That's why we would not give up Monday night till we could not stand and why we where out in the scorching sun yesterday utill we found him.
