i was out with my wildlife class in college yesterday n we were helpin the game commission repair some duck boxes n goose nest they had out on the ponds. we were out runnin around on the ice which we soon found out was only about an inch n a half thick. half the class ended up fallin thru, but the water was only shin deep. i was lookin down at the ice n saw this turtle swimmin around. so the game commissioner handed me a hammer n i knocked a hole thru the ice n the other guys tapped on the ice n drove him under the hole n i reached in, grabbed him by the tail n yanked this bad boy out. he's sittin in a tub of water downstairs gettin cleaned out so we can cook him n clean his shell. now everybody down there thinks im nuts:scare2:

that bad boy is a monster. did you weigh it?

i have never eaten turtle how does it taste is it pretty good:humm:

they taste pretty good, he weighs about 35-40 lbs. he was pissed when i dragged him outta the water, hissin clawin at me n stickin his head out. course i dont think i've ever seen a happy snapping turtle:humm:

well i wouldn't think he would be too happy...... would u be if i reached in your home and pulled u out by the leg?
