LLDOA
here's a good cause to support if there ever was one:
http://www.leftlanedrivers.org/ i'll buy one just as soon as i can figure out exactly what the money is being used for other than an overpriced sticker. |
I LOVE IT !
|
i emailed them just now. asked if the money is or the sticker or if a portion is going to fund some sort of campaign. i'll probably buy one anyway just because they're cool and i'd get a lot of use out of it. lol

My opinion, you'll label yourself as an aggresive driver with that on your widshield and may draw unwanted attention from smokey bear...
If someone was to come up behind me tailgating in the "fast lane" with that, they would get a set of brakelights and a closer look at by ball hitch. People really just need to learn to slow down and smell the roses...wouldn't that be a better campaign? |
no because i'm sick of morons who don't watch their mirrors or have the common courtesy to allow faster traffic to pass. not to mention the real geniuses who sit in the left lane directly across from the car in the right lane for miles on end. statistics show that left lane hogs are the number 1 cause of road rage. there's no reason for it.
»»»»»»»»»»»«««««««««««« AutoMerged DoublePost »»»»»»»»»»»«««««««««««« FYI-- here's the response i received from this place about where the money goes: Right now, this operation is pretty much a "labor of love". The decals are made from high-tech, heavy-duty, perforated vinyl (which is transparent to the driver while in the cockpit) and they are quite expensive. The rest goes to operating and promotional costs. We're taking this one step at a time. If we ever really take off, then we should have something to use to continue spreading the word. Although most people first think of lobbying government, we maintain that a grassroots effort like this could have a more immediate, positive effect and so want to continue, at least for now, in that direction and hope to develop other materials to support that end. Thanks for your input/interest. And, please help us spread the word... and whitmore, i asked but they won't make one that says "move over, asshat --->" sorry bud. |
