racing other than daily drivers
 

who out there races something other than your daily driver? I have been racing many types of cars and bikes over the years form stock car to dragracing and even 3 wheelers back in their daybefore 4 wheelers came along. heres some of mine Attachment 50127 Attachment 50128 Attachment 50129 Attachment 50130

i raced super stock lawn mowers on a round track, and built them for the drag strip i have no times because they would not let me run.

i ran s/g with a 67 camaro rs with a 572 bbc

i went 52 mph in a 1/8 mile before i had to slow down. fun fun :rocking:

i race a 4 link dragster with alky injected 565 now and my son had a 7.90 jr dragster

I gave up racing motocross back when I started getting good and everyone I rode with started getting hurt really bad. I figured my time was coming soon enough and didn't want to take that helicopter ride. I try to go watch the local race every year and support a buddy of mines daughter racing 150's, and I still get an adrenaline rush every time the gate drops.

I'd like to get into drag racing, but the nearest strip is three hours away. I get my competitive fix now by sponsoring a demo derby team, I love the sound of a good engine uncorked:jump:
