Kevin do you use Gas or Charcoal

Whit 08-04-2007 04:30 PM

I use gas.........way too easy

Charcoal I think does a better job though.............when I bake cakes in my dutch oven I use charcoal

bow2no1 08-04-2007 04:32 PM

i don't know alot about steaks. i just buy what looks good.
i been getting Angus 85-90% lean. and just fry it up in a pan.
i mainly eat steak for the protein and creatine content

i been eating steak for the last week...
Mako that is

i have never had that until recently. that some good stuff too..

bow2no1 08-04-2007 04:44 PM

i can get you some lobster.. the down fall is the over night shipping

Whit 08-04-2007 04:45 PM

its awsome............get a can of cherry or blueberry pie filling and pour it in the bottom of a 300* dutchoven 8-10 inch.......then add one box of cake batter.........cant remember how long but when its done put a plate out and tip the dutch oven over on the plat a tap it good then remove........there you have a nice cake with fruit topping all hot.....................yer woman will think you are the best ever.....then you can have real desert :tada: :tada: :tada:

Whit 08-04-2007 04:58 PM

Damn............what ya gonna hook me for a buttload full.................enough for 12 peoples to eat up

bow2no1 08-04-2007 05:48 PM

here call this number (207)633-4900
it's the lobstermens co-op.... it was just bought out so they might answer the phone with an other name. i'm not sure what the new name is.

just tell them what you want and a price. i might be able to do a bit better on the price of the lobsters.

Whit 08-04-2007 05:56 PM

cool.............I called em and they say 140 bucks for the first 6 lbs then its 15 bucks a lb after that...............next day air to yer door

bow2no1 08-04-2007 06:14 PM

how many pounds/lobsters do you need?
they run i think about 1-1/4 and up.

Whit 08-04-2007 06:15 PM

12 bigass lobstas would be way cool:U:..........whatever that weighs

bow2no1 08-04-2007 06:22 PM

lol big ass ones huh? like 4 pounders?
if you order them from MA. you can get super size 10 or so pounders. lol

we have size restrictions here. 4lbs is a big freakin lobster!
and you'll need a sledge hammer to get in to it.

honestly i think 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 is the biggest you would want.

i gotta check to see what the hard shell price is. boat price is like 1.00 or 1.50 a pound or so less then dock price.

Whit 08-04-2007 07:12 PM

I dunno what I am doin here but get me a price on a dozen lobstas that are the right size for eatin

bow2no1 08-04-2007 08:30 PM

lol, me either.

i'll set you up.....
i'll stop by the dock tomorrow

if i don't get run over. tomorrow is Stony's bike run.
last year they estimated 1,200 bikes came in to town.

would be cool if it was 1,200 diesels
