Did you have to leave your truck running around the clock, I can't see it starting that cold

Although some people do it (mostly guys with company trucks) - you cannot leave a diesel run all night in the cold. Doing so can lead to major repair bills.

If you have good batteries, keep the block heater plugged in, and run an antigel fuel coditioner it will usually start. I have on of these:

Espar - Coolant Heaters

This morning it was -40 & my wait to start light was out withing 4 seconds and the coolant temp was moving when I was about 3 minutes from the house. If you live in a cold place - youve got to have an Espar.
