I Survived the Holiday traffic !!

Hey all,
I Saw a bad crash this Holiday weekend a little to close for comfort, Traffic had stopped suddenly on the interstate and we all had to put the brakes on hard. Two cars behind me got stopped ok and I started to pull foward and wham! I looked into the mirrors and a full size SUV hit the car two cars back I dont think he ever slowed down parts went everywhere.
I have noticed people Texting while driving is this against the law? Scares the hell out of me glad I have a big rear bumper.
anyway some crazy stuff down south here, is it like that all over the country?:scare2:

Yeah, people should be fined HEAVILY texting or blowing hot air into a cell phone. If they get into an accident, mandatory insurance rate hike or be dropped. PLUS make it harder to get insurance through another company, or pay more than $1500 per comp and collision. :pca1:

I dont understand why text someone when a call is so much easier and safer with hands free.

Texting/Emailing on the phone while driving becomes illegal here TOMMOROW!

This weekend out here there was a bad pileup on the beltline, I heard a couple good samaritans stopped on the opposite side of the highway to run and help the crash victims, jumped the jersey barrier without looking and fell 30ft into a big creek. One of them died from the fall.

it is truly amazing how many people you see messing with their phone running down the freeway 75 to 80 miles an hour :dang::dang::ouch: i seen plenty of them :asshat::asshat: this weekend coming back from california yesterday:td::td:

talking without a hands free became illegal in California last year, then they made texting illegal this year because of the huge spike in accidents from people texting :argh:

can you imagine what those people that jumped the barrier and didn't land on steady footing right away were thinking?:scare2: wow.
