My Black Friday
 

Well i worked from 4 pm Thursday 5 am Friday , the next shift came in and was bitching about traffic in town and the mile long lines of people and tents and stuff at all the stores

Ive never braved black Friday before but my line ran all night and i was pretty chipper for having worked 13 hours so i thought what the hell ill go check out these idiots

i drive in to rush hour traffic at 5 AM make it to walmarts parking lot at 5:10 every spot is full ,,, when i say every spot i mean every spot and this is a super walmart , i park in the grass and walk in OMG assholes and elbows everywhere.

Make my way to the back of the store to get a dsi for chase , there not even on sale ...

so i left @ 5:30a thats how long it took me to walk to the back of the store turn around and leave.

they have a game stop out side the store in the shopping center so i walked the 1/2 mile to my truck and decide to walk the additional 100 yards to game stop .

When i get to game stop they have the curtains closed ... i walk up to the door to see what time they open and all i hear is car doors closing ,,, WTF i turn around and there is 25 people in line behind me , its 35* and raining and its 530 am , i asked the lady behind me what thime they open and she said 6am , by this time there is ~50 people in line and im #1 , i said well i didnt walk up here to get in line , i came up here to see what time they open, we all can get back in our vehicles , they wouldnt move so like a dumb ass and since i was first i stood there for a half hour in the november rain .. im so ashamed !

they open the doors and i got a dsi bundle Gamestop.com - Buy Nintendo DSi Mario Bundle - Nintendo DS and the new mario game for wii Gamestop.com - Buy New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Nintendo Wii and left and came home.

i just woke up ruined my day here as its 6 pm and im wide awake :dang:

you are the man to be out there on a day such as black friday especially going to wally world you were lucky to get out of there alive:scare2::scare2:

yea this whole black friday thing is nuts people are crazy go and camp out to get in the store, no thankyou it will a be on sale in a couple of weeks anyways. I think its all a hype anyways are they that good of deals that it is worth camping out in freezing weather and fighting all the crazys fightin over a toy just to save a couple of bucks not me but thats just my $.02 Anyways glad you made it out of there alive DM takes a brave man to brave wally world on the morn of black friday :ouch::s::ouch::c:

I hung out at the Ford/Dodge dealer for a little while today, not a customer one this morning. The hardware stores sure looked busy today though.

i just got that super mario for the wii and i love it. kinda a kids game, but at least i can follow it.

Smash Bros. Brawl Allowed me and chase to play at the same time in both co-op and vs , this was perfect !

The new mario game should give us the same interface and co-op in marios world and its going to be great

In super mario galaxy i would play and he would watch , then when i would leave he would be winning stages him self , he has beaten the end boss on super mario galaxy 100% by him self about 50 times , its pure domination by him and it took me a half dozen times to beat it the first time.

I want a ps3 bad but chase just is not to that level yet , so in order for us both to enjoy the game we have to stick with nintendo and co-op or vs titiles

I got a Black & Decker 18v Cordless Drill for $25, about 10 BluRays for $10 each and a 100 piece Dewalt kit to go with my Drill. :rocking:

Walmart was a mad house.... people were going crazy over the 32" LCD's for $248 and the $78 BluRay Players and the Nintendo DS. :argh:
