what to do
i just got this Gwer 98 from a buddy, its an orginal German MAuser Gwer 98 brought back to the states by his great grandfather at the end of ww1. The stock is pretty beat up but its not in too bad of shape. It does have a duffle bag cut and is missing the top piece and I was wondering if i should re finish the whole thing or leave it as is. I only paid 60 bucks for it so i think a got a chance to increase the value, not that id sell it but you never know.

What's the bore like?
|
bore i in good shape, still tight shot groups at 150 yds, they just didnt take care of it the way they should have
|
Refinishing it sometimes makes them loose value too idk thats tough i think i would leave it alone :humm: Maybe take it to a reputable gun shop and ask the gun smith what they think:humm:
