Cancer awareness ribbon

So... My dad finished radiation a couple weeks ago for cancer of his tonsil. I want to get an awareness ribbon tattooed on my back. does anyone here know what color throat/neck cancer is? I've been looking in various places, can't find a definite answer.

figure someone else has experience with neck/throat cancer.

The memorial tatt's are a cool thing for those special people in your life but before you look at makin this permanent I would ask that you think about it in the long term way for a minute.

This is gonna be a constant reminder to you and your kids about Dad and Grampa's Cancer. How about a Tatt memorializing somethin he loves and would want to be remembered for instead.

Just thinkin of alternatives here, not tryin to tell ya what your plannin is wrong in any way. Be sure he knows he's got a whole family on here thinkin about him and wishin the best through this.:c:

Thanks for the support guys, and I will pass it on to him. Its definitely been a tough battle for him, and I'm just now coming to terms with it, several months later. Its one of those cooking in the back of your mind things, at least from my position, that just makes anything else killer.

Uncle Bubba;
I've already got one tat that im probably gonna regret by the time I'm only 30. I'd say that one is pretty meaningful at least for now, and this one will mean much more than that. I've been in school and almost completely ignoring the whole situation, and I want to make it something real. Plus, I'm living back at home since I've moved from phoenix, and he's coming home Sunday. Once again, this will make it something real that I can think of as we are working together on getting along during his extended recovery. I'm going to do my best to not move out until he's back into his groove.

Sounds like me and my kid. We were best friends for years while he was growin up but didn't get along real well there for a few years before he left the state to go off to college. Since he's been back he's tryin hard to put up with me and spend time together and it's goin better. He just had to learn that 90% of what comes out of my mouth is nothin more then bullstuff and to not take it personal. It's goin good for he and I now.

Goodluck to the two of ya.
