Vid's stop on their own, help!
 

Hey, lately this has been happening and I'm wondering what the problem is. I will be watching a vid online (youtube etc..) and it will start playing fine, everything works great then about 1-1 1/2 mins in, it stops by itself and sometimes won't reload. It buffers past the amount of time it plays so no problems there, but what would cause this?

I gave up even tryin to watch vids on my puter. I get sound for the most part but the video is nothin but hit n miss still pictures. I've updated all my programs, cleaned out all my files and makes no difference.

same with me i just tried to watch what handyherb posted about our senior citizens plays about three secs and quits for ten back &forth:madd::humm::humm:

We seem to be on the same track in life between this and both our TV's on the fritz. Must suck to be you right now.:tttt::tttt:

I'm on Comcast cable hookup, it's supposed to be the fastest around. Not that I would want to put my personal word on that, just repeatin the advertisement.

Youtube plays fine for me and my connection sucks.

If you use IE (internet explorer) then I know why you have issues. It has more hose in it then swiss cheese.

I'm on Firefox myself.

Verizon fios here,loads fine.150mbps I say thats fast enough.

...ohh wait a sec..

So of all of ya that can't get video's to work right, how many of you are using AVG Software.

We just got a new computer and everything works great now, The other one must have had too much shit on it I guess.

I found some articles about AVG messing with various dll files on computers with a new updates that came out over the last 5 months. I know I'm havin a problem with one of these dll files and I'm wonderin if that's my problem.

Well today things turned to shit again. It started with no sound but vid's played fine, then about 10 mins later the vids were stopping again. What OS are you on Bubba? This POS has Vista on it, which is a problem in itself...

I'm on XP.

Did you do your updates with microsoft see if that helps,my laptop was doing the same thing (Vista crap)and it work fine after all 98 updates were done.No problem with the MAC.
