gun owners read this!

Read this and pass it on, this is serious stuff that needs stopped!

Now 'all Guns' must be listed

on your next (2010) tax return!

As if we didn't have enough to get upset about!
If you have a gun, I hope it isn't registered!

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.

| This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the Obama staff. BUT . .. this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective ! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act o f 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all. Trust Obama ? ..... you must be kidding !
|

The full text of the IRS amendment is on the U.S. Senate homepage,U.S. Senate <www.senate.gov - This page cannot be found. You can find the bill by doing a search by the bill number, SB-2099.
| You know who to call; I strongly suggest you do. Please send a copy of this e-mail to every gun owner you know.|

Is it true that . . . Senate Bill SB-2099 will require owners of firearms to pay a $50 charge per gun and list each gun on their federal tax form?

The answer is no. This Internet rumor states that SB-2099 is legislation currently being considered by the Senate. The bill supposedly requires owners of firearms to list on their 1040 tax return all guns they own and then pay a $50 charge per firearm. There is no such legislation by this name in the 111th Congress.

The facts:

* The last bill given the number S. 2099 was in the 105th Congress. This bill dealt with federal sentencing guidelines for counterfeiting offenses.
* Legislation that the Senate is currently working on will be listed on the Active Legislation page or can be searched for on Thomas. For more information about the legislative process or finding bills, please see the Legislation VRD page.

But its the internet... It HAS to be true!

I assure you it did scare the hell out of me. Some slimy politicians will try any means to take our rights away from us. I would have never thought they would have taken most of the guns away from the australians but politicians slipped the meat to them with out lube. If this if false I apologize for putting it up.

So who's gonna look in my closet (or any of the other convenient spots I have weapons)?

I can imagine the staffing notice for that job- Wanted, motivated individuals to knock on doors with police escorts. Will work in pairs. After first is shot and police neutralize homeowner, second will move in and count guns. Competitive benefits, including life insurance after 90days :DD:

SmokinPiney 10-11-2009 07:52 AM

Another reason (even though it's fake) why NOT to register your guns..... :w2:
