Salted Nut Roll Candy
 

Hey any of you guys ever put dry roasted peanuts and candy corn in a bowl mixed together? My wife does this every year from now until Halloween. This stuff is addicting and taste just like a salted nut roll candy bar. Not bad with beer either:w2::c:

My wife makes it too. That stuff sure is good. She'll mix peanuts, m&m's, reese's pieces, semisweet chocolate, and white chocolate together the same way. Awesome!:pca1:

Justy pour it straight outa the bag in a bowl and mix it up alittle and eat. The peanuts make everything salty.

Well I was just thinking of that "Stuckeys peanut log" how it was all rolled up together.. Boiled the hell out of some peanuts but the darn things won't melt.

I remember those stuckey peanut logs when I was traveling all over.

That is by far one of my favorite snacks for this time of the year. I have not had it in a few years though, people out here think I am nuts when I mention it. My opinion is don't knock it until you try it.

if you think a Stuckeys log is good you need to get your hands on some Dillon Candy Company Logs..... their plant use to be literally 100yds from my front doorstep but they moved to a bigger facility now 1 mile from my house..... my grandmother's neighbor use to work there and back in the day all the candy rolls that were packaged and weighed too small employees got to take home..... she always brought me over candy all the time.....

I just let loose a peanut, corn laden log. Didn't look appetizing at all!:humm:

I make that every year but this year I'm going to try trail mix with it and see how that tastes.

Yea, I saw it in a store already mixed together, can't remember the brand. Also, Brach's has come out with "Milk Maid" caramel candy corn. Yum, yum!

All I do is buy salted Peanuts and mixit with the candy corn? no baking? or melting of the candy corn? CRAP! My fiance' said I can't have any. It has High Fructose Corn Syrup in them! What she don't know wont hurt her?:w2: untill she finds out? What to do.

And those Milk Maid caramel candy corn sound good too. Haven't seen those yet
