My short lived puppy "Diesel"
 

I have been meaning to put up pics of my new boy "Diesel" but he kept me pretty darn busy. The poor little guy was acting kinda wierd for a puppy so I took him in to the vet the second day I had him, and they wanted to take an xray cause his feces had excess bacteria in it. When the xray printed the vet couldnt see anything cause his whole body was full of pus. They operated and flushed him out and turned out to be micro perforations in his intestines. So they had him a few days and than he was doing way better and I picked him and some meds and special gastro food up. Than about 5 days later he started acting wierd again so I took him back and turned out his small intestine telescoped inside his large intestine and he had to be put down :bye:

So there is my sad little story but he was a pretty good little guy already and I'm super sad to see him go. He totally fit his name and loved going for rides in the truck.

Now I'm not sure what to name the new pup I'm going to get once I move next month into my new place. Do you guys think its wierd to name the new one Diesel too?

Thats a shame bud, sorry to hear that. Im sure you can think of somethin to name the new one but it might be weird namin him the same thing

As for teh new puppy Call him sixoh (like 6.0 but say it fast so it blends together)

Thanks guys keep the names coming so I have a good bank of them to choose from, it was so hard for me to think of Diesel in the first place which still isnt quite out of the running.

01shrtbedcummins your little guy is super cute. I just stopped in at my dads and he showed a ton of pics he took of my little guy when I had him baby sit him for an afternoon when I ran down to pick up some parts in North Dakota. I'll post a couple when I yank em off his hard drive

You could name him "Stains" Sorry about the puppy, harder to lose them than people.

sorry to hear about your pup, i would hate to lose my dog roper he has been one hell of a dog, i like bomber too sounds good easy for the dog to hear

sorry for your loss......as for naming the next one, I am like Bomber but I don't think it wierd to name it Diesel either.....

Losing a pet is worst then losing a human sometimes. Sorry for your loss.
