Sooo....I bought a camper.....
1976 D350 Sportman Van cab, 440, 727 Load-Flite, 4:10 geared rearend, roof was just seal coated, roof can be stood on with ladder up the back, the whole interior was redone a year or so ago, new plastic sewer tanks, newer in-vehicle propane tanks, new stove and fridge, all of the beds were recovered a year ago, it has a generator but notsure of its condition, 140,000 miles, it was painted a year ago also, im the 3rd owner. if i dont use it as a camper it will provide a nice water proof storage unit and it also has a complete spare drivetrain for my 1977 D350 dually. all for a measly 600 bucks, and the guy threw in a running 3 wheeler, go kart, and newer yamaha jet ski that needs a starter. the neighbor is buying the 3 wheeler and go-kart for 200 bucks. and i figure the jet ski can be fixed and sold for a couple hundred so i pretty much got the thing for free. this is what it looks like. this isnt an actual picture of it, just a close representation

I would buy all of that for $600:U:

Paint that badboy up with some DieselBomber logo's and it can follow the Bomb Mobile around for lodging:U::5:

good deal.....:U:

I found a unit like that back in 2003. It was a 1991 in damn nice shape and had the factory 12-valve Cummins, a Jake Brake and the 727 trans. Had 89,000 miles on it and the old couple wanted $4500.00 OBO for it. I had just bought my Ram and couldn't afford another payment at the time or I would have snatched it up.:argh:

its got some homo-riffic pink and teal strip down the side, its ok though, that will be taken care of cause im going to paint it a different color and put aluminum wheels and a roof rack on it IF i keep it as a camper and not just pull the drivetrain out of it and scrap the rest......this will be me in a few years....

when I saw the picture I thought you'd been out in the sandbox too long but after reading about all the stuff you got with it, for $600...that's awesome!
|
the 440, 727 and the 4.10 Dana whatever under the rear is worth it.....it should have the same rearend as my 77 D350, a Dana 70.....im thinking the new chrysler light blue with 16inch black rock star wheels.....
