the NTPA/ATPA introduced block/head straps because of the stuff these Alky Supers were blowing........London Ohio in 2002 I watched Larry Roberts blow the side shields off Ryan's Toy when he smoked the engine.......These tractors shown above were ETPA tractors and there rules are close to ours in the USA but some of the safety stuff isnt the same......hence the side shields getting knocked off...... they also run some pretty radical classes, they have a 12,500 pound Modified class that is insane......here is one of the tractors that run in it....
