I'd try Epoxy....seems like it would do best in unstable climates....assuming you will have it outside..

screw epoxy use amzing marine goop, its a contact adhesive/sealent

you know..now that i think about it...epoxy might not be the best in the world... my daddys gear shifter knob's thread got striped and we tried using epoxy to make it hold... and it did....for...like 3 days...

Gorilla Glue maybe. Or maybe contact cement.

any epoxy will work just fine. Scuff sand the mating surfaces and clean them with alcohol or acetone before gluing.
