I t sounds neat to say that nothin can keep this kid down but ya know, facts are facts. Not all of us are cut out to do just anything we want, we all have to live within our limitations no matter how much we may not like the idea.
How would you like to be the opponent. What the hell would ya do, you can't beat him like a rug the same as you would anybody else cause then your the bad guy. You can't just stand there and take it from him cause then you were the ******* that didn't even have enough respect for the guy to fight fair. No way, no how, some things just shouldn't happen. Sorry.

I think that we need to see video of the guy in action to come to conclusions.
If he can wrestle competitively in high school, and can benchpress 360 pounds, and knows what he's doing, let him do it.
If anything, it sounds like it may be unfair to the other competitor, who can never kick him, and by weight class is a much smaller-bodied person.
Sounds interesting. Definitely is going to be really, really weird.
"I was extremely concerned about Kyle fighting mixed martial arts until I got to know him better and saw all the things he can do," said David Oblas, president of Undisputed Productions and the fight's promoter. "Once you get into Kyle Maynard the athlete, you see he's quicker and stronger than most people, his arms extend long enough to protect his head, and his power to punch is tremendous.
"As the sport of MMA grows larger, we're getting more amateur fighters who don't have a damn clue. They train in their dad's garage, and because they watch 'The Ultimate Fighter,' they think they can fight. Kyle studies this; he knows what he's doing. I feel safer putting Kyle Maynard in the ring with no arms and no legs than almost all of the 0-0 fighters out there."

By 2004, he competed in the Georgia High School Sports Association wrestling championships and finished his high school career with a varsity record of 35-16.

If they are already changin the rules to accommodate his shortcomings then it's already wrong. I wanna fight in the MMA to, so everybody I fight has to have one arm and one leg tied together behind their back to give me a fair chance and to accommodate my shortcomings. Don't forget about the guy with no legs that wants to be a placekicker in the NFL so they have to let him use a machine to send the ball down the field.
This is just another example of political correctness gone haywire.
