I'm in the market for a cheap DD since the truck is giving me so much hell and I'm in school. I had an 89 SHO and really liked it, and I can pick up a later model with the stock linkage shifter for pretty cheap, but I'm thinking about going with something else.
I want something 4 door and it doesn't even have to be fast, just something reliable for under 2 grand that won't attract attention from the 5-0. I'm basically in sun city so there's a lot of old people rigs for sale here. I'd prefer rear wheel drive just for ease of maintenance but I don't think thats gonna happen.
Anyone got any other suggestions?

 

If you're shopping with that kind of budget, just get the first thing that comes along that you like.

It's a lot funner that way.
