well guys I had to show off, like a proud new dad. picked up my new puppy, been waiting for about 3 months on him. He is a pure bred blue lacy, named him duece.

Oh yeah. Me the furniture or anything he can find, not to mention all the crap my wife bought him. I haven't had a pup in about ten Years, I forgot how much "fun" it is

Yeah I've seen them my whole life and never really new the story on the breed. My female just showed up at the shop I work at one day. She was malnourished and someone had really beat on her, even now she is very skittish. But after we got her home and settled down I started looking into the breed, come to find out they are the official state breed of Texas, the first breed that originated in the Lone Star. Between that and their incredible athleticism I had to have another. Being bred as working dogs they are a little high strung as pups, but completely worth it.
