Default Nitro RC Trucks

Who here has one? I'm in the market to get one and I found a Traxxas T-maxx 2.5 Nitro truck for 200 which I think is fair.... Anyways what are your experences with them, good or bad? This is my first nitro vehicle any tips? Just looking for any info I can get. Thanks

I had a Traxxas E-Maxx, which was cool, but I got bored of it pretty quick. Its a lot better if you can ride on the back of a quad and really move around with the thing.

Tmaxx are decent. But the Revo is a far superior truck. I have a 2.5r and a 3.3

I totally agree about the Revo with the bigger 3.3 motor and inboard coilovers. But I can't find one of those for 200 though....

Revo 3.3 is the way to go. Save some more money and go for the best. I have a blast with mine.

Where do you guys run yours? We have an old sand and gravel quarry nearby that we used to run ours at. Pretty sweet setup, they just posted it a year ago or so, some kid killed himself on a 3 wheeler and his parents sued the landowner... Funny how 1 person ruins it for everyone else.

That would be awesome. There is a small track nearby here that I "play" at. I dont compete. It is fun to watch some of the guys run. But some are so far into it that they bring trailers with fully stocked parts and teardown benches.

Ive got an HPI savage 2.5 with 3 or 4 motors.. it was for sale for a long time.. I really enjoyed it, but got bored with it quick.. it was too advanced for my kids, and noone else here has them, so it wasnt much fun for me..

I might put it back up in the for sale section..
