Default Whos a vol. fireman?

hey all, whos a fireman or part of your local fire department? im in the process of joining my local station, hopefully i can get lights and a siren for it!
im also goin to get a VFD sticker for the tailgate

Up here we are only allowed to have one red dash mounted/sunvisor mounted red light that must be out of sight when not in use and no siren. Only the fire trucks (All emergency vehicles) are allowed to have sirens. Your truck is still a personal vehicle, not a registered emergency vehicle. It could be different down there though..

15 years, did every spot up to assistant chief the checked out

I still miss it in a way but when I hear the fire whistle at 3am I just roll over, fart and go back to sleep



vol fireman is some of the best thing ya can do in life...........................its great

Yes it is Whit. Its givin me some of the best up and downs in my life. iwould not trade it for ANYTHING in the world.

It's one of teh best thinkgs you can do Logan, Sidekick on here is in teh same vol dept as me.

I used to be a vol. firefighter and a paid firefighter. Same town, just the vol. was the South District. I went on more calls with the vol. dept. then I did with the city.

I just wish they had vol. dept around me. I do miss it.
