I got a hell of a deal ??

I went to the gun show today, and I bought a RUGER MARK II 5.5 inch barrel 22LR BLUE with adjustable sights semi-auto it's mint like new, with an extra mag & a gun pouch for a grand total of $148 {not a misprint} people are hurting & selling their stuff, I regret not taking more money, I had a guy selling me a M1 GARAND for $550, I told him I had only $470 & he said no I told him $500, but we had to go to my house, I think he was worry leave the gun show, some claim jumper took my deal, I guess I can't hog up all the good deals ???

Nice. I've been looking for an old Garand, but you can't find them here for less than a grand. I've even been keeping an eye out for an old BAR (semi auto), just cause I think they're badass... :U:

you downright stole that mark III, holy crap!! one of those is next on my list, they may be the best handgun in the world to plink with.

That is a steal for that Ruger. I've always liked those. I have a 22-45 Target in stainless with the 5-1/2" bull barrel that is a ball to shoot. My brother bet me I couldn't even hit a target at 100 yds with open sights. Not only did I hit it, it was just inside the 5 ring. For plinking pistols, they don't get any better than that.

I already have a RUGER GOVERNMENT 22LR with the 6 7/8 inch BULL-BARREL, adjustable sights, gunsmith gave it a trigger-stop & a trigger job:ok1: it's accurate, but big & heavy for a 22LR. I can't help myself anytime theres a good deal I have to buy it !!!!!!!!!!

I'm going shooting tomorrow, I'm going to test out The RUGER MARK II 22LR & a TOZ 34EP O/U shotgun ??? I want to see how accurate that MARK II is ?????

Forgot to add.. my one and ONLY complaint is the ramp on the 22-45 is steep enough that it doesn't like hollow points.. not even copper coated ones. The nose is too soft and they tend to jam. The only thing I've found that loads correctly is the copper coated solids, like the CCI Stinger, which are almost inpossible to find any more.. and the Winchester SuperX 40g. Other than that, it's a sweet little pistol.
Not sure if the Mark pistols have the same steep ramp, but if it does.. you're going to be jam city if you shoot hollow points out of it.
