i ordered a brand new 07 TRX 450ERF last monday :rocking: it is supposed to be here on tuesday and im like a gettie little school girl waiting for this thing to get here :choochoo:

My bud had the first 450R in the area, they have stupid power :lol: So whats the ERF stand for since I can't find one? :humm:

ER means electric start model if i remember right and the F means special edition and all that means is it has the red frame with black and red flame plastics...

Ahhh gotcha. Yes elec start is a must! My buds was kick, what a bear, especially when it kicked back... :bat:

I love my 04 r:U: I have the first one to hit the trail in atlantic canada ,been a pretty good bike so far done some mods, hrc kit,full skids,nerf bars(a must),front bumper w/lights (had to install a battery), I had a little mishap with a rod that didn't want to turn on the crank anymore:argh: but fixed it and went high comp(13.5-1) don't suggest it ,going back to stock comp now,good site to check out for info on the r is trx450r.org :U:
p.s. change your oil ,it doesn't hold very much I have always changed mine every second trip out,1 1/2 quarts is not much $:ok1:

Them things are pretty fast a buddy of mine has one a 07 TRX450 and that thing rips like a mother f-er... I wanted one for a while but this last summer I gave up on that after I watched a kid (i didnt know) die on one. I try to take it easy and once my dirt bikes burn down I'll prolly buy some endro bikes and trail ride.

they have tons of 07's in stock and they are pretty much giving them away and they are just like the 08's and 09's just cheaper :U: so ya i am waiting for it to come from a honda warehouse :madd:

if you are not used to a bike with the power and speed try changing your front sprocket to a 13 tooth it will have more bottom end and cut some of the top end out ,I have 3 for my bike 13-14-15 and depending on the trail conditions I gear accordingly,watch it though it will wheelie pretty easy with the 13 on ,and fly with a 15:yeah::yeah: don't know about the bike shops around you but I have seen a couple of 05 and 06 around here new never been out of the showroom and they are going cheap ,less than I would sell mine for:argh:

great it is a blast even though i havent road it too much yet... i let one of my friends ride it and he ripped the drag bar off... so i got an aftermarket one of them already...

Ha Nice, thats the first thing that happened to my buds too :D Do yourself a favor and if it doesn't have nerf bars on it yet, get a set. Bud found out the hard way they are handy to have... :w2:

I love my nerf bars I ordered them the same time I ordered my bike but due to it being the first production year for the r ,the bars were not in production but they did come in 2 days after I wiped out and twisted my ankle:ouch: ,try drivin big rig with a twisted left ankle,being o/o had no choice but to go to work:argh:
