http://www.uscc.com/uscellular/Silve...kt=604440&tm=0

my contract is going to be up soon.
right now i have a Motorola w315
http://www.mobilewhack.com/motorola_w315_mc_001.jpg
it's cheap, simple no camera and it's Motorola reception is pretty good too!
i generally have reception when others do not.

doesn't seem like u.s. cellular has much to pick from for Motorola phones.
they just discontinued the ROKR last witch was the cheapest.

what do you guys suggest?

What are you using it for? Only talking, less talk more texting and emails, internet browser?

Motorola make a very good phone no doubt but they all have their strong points.

i swear by verizon as the best service for any cell phone company...but if your just looking for a new phone from us cellular then ive always loved LG phones there pretty durable and get good reception:c:

i'm not changing companies..
given i'm on a peninsula u.s. cellular pretty much dominates our area.
i have friends try other companies and they always switched back to U.S. cellular.

i text very minimal. i get the 300 text plan just to keep my butt covered. i hate it to be honest. besides that i just talk. nothing else i have found times a camera would come in handy but it's not necessary

LG is a good phone, we have had some in the past and that is what our boys have and they are pretty tough!! Worth the money esp if you want something basic like you are saying!:U:

I've got the LG and so far love it. Very easy to use and seems to be a tough phone.

After reading up on the reviews for the phones, I think I would go with the Motorola W385

Seems like a good phone for just talking and texting.
Good luck finding a phone. :c: :U:

I have Altell so I'm not familiar with any of those phones. However I would vote for an LG as well. I have had 4 LG's and 1 Samsung. To be honest the only reason I've had so many phones(^ all in 4 years) Is because I lost 3 and upgraded once. My favorite one so was an LG AX 565. I really like the FM transmitter in it because my work truck just has a basic radio. That one I lost out in the middle of a pasture and it sat there for about 2 weeks. Long enough for it to get snowed on. I didn't find it until after the snow had melted. and it still worked.
The one before that was an LG AX5550(I think, It was a Red phone). One of my buddies stuck the thing in his pocket then went swimming with it. Took it home dried it out and it worked for over a year after that. It was cool because it had a flash for the camera which was pretty damn bright. It doubled as a flashlight on more than one occasion.

Right now I'm on a Samsung RCH-600 and I've only had it for about a month but so far It seems to be holding out all right. I miss the 565 though.

Sorry for the novel. Moral of the story? LG makes a damn good phone.

LG Rhythm UX585 http://www.uscc.com/uscellular/pages...g.html?img=214

looks like a nice phone i like how it slides open.
also it's buy one and get one free right now and my wife likes the pink one.

i was hoping Motorola was going to come out with something since they no longer sell the ROKR.
