No complaints with St. Farm either. I just think after a few years you need to shop around.
I think they just raise your rate cause they know they have ya And why is it, if you have a vehicle insured, every year it get's older and the value decreases but the insurance goes up

That's what happened to me when I had SF. With Travelers though,(with the exception of the hurricane Katrina crap) with each year and no claim, my insurance actually had a noticeable drop on each thing I had insured. (Boat, trucks, and house)

State Farm here, for over a decade. Sure, they raise the rates a little bit sometimes, but last year they went down on my big Ford.

One thing I do know is when you need them, State Farm is there. Sure it's part of their slogan but I've had a few rather large claims with them in the past and each one was handled quickly, professionally, and without issue.

The last one was a property theft that totaled over $9,000 that was handled with about 6 phone calls over the course of a month......My rates actually went down the next cycle after they cut a huge check. Go figure.

Thats very true. Last summer a tree fell on my camper at the lake. St. Farm came looked at it and said it's totaled. Wrote me a check for $26,000 and said get a new one No hassles no nothing just that simple. within 4-5 days I had a check and my wife was shopping for a new camper
