Default New Year's Day Superstition

Any superstitions? What's for lunch? Here is what we are having...

Black-eyed peas w/pork, cornbread and (collard or spinach) greens.

Peas for pennies, greens for dollars and cornbread for gold.

Eat poor on New Year's and eat fat the rest of the year.

I've never heard of that tradition.

I had a breakfast burrito and a donut.

And come to think of it, that's all I've had all day long.
