Default Music - CD to MP3

Hello,

How do you record music from a cd on your computer to your mp3 player?

Do you convert the WMA to MP3 files?

Are the files on the hard drive, or are you trying to copy from a cd?? If the files are on the hard drive and in WMA format, yes you will have to convert them to MP3.

I am using Windows Media Player and rip them to the harddrive. What do you use to convert them to MP3?

Just google free wma to mp3 converter, plenty of them available that work well. If you want to do any edits I recommend Audacity as the software of choice for editing.

Also if you go into the properties of Windows Media Player on the "rip" tab you can choose to have it rip to MP3 in the future so you don't have to rip then convert them. Hope this is helpful to you.
