I have both. I think the PS3 is a better media device but the 360 is a better gaming device. The load times on the ps3 are so slow compared to the 360. My ps3 has been reduced to just playing movies and I play all my games on my 360. And I never liked the original xbox, I have always been a playstation fan. I will say if you dont have a TV that has an HDMI port on it dont bother getting the ps3. Yes there are other connections that you can purchase but the pic quality isnt there like it is with the 360 not using an hdmi plug. If you do buy a 360 make sure you get one with a multiple year warranty. The red ring of death is not a pretty site.

As for the Wii, I play my games for the graphics and to relax. Its not really my cup of tea.

Picked up a WII last night and got the latest Call-Of-Duty.... BEST game system I have ever played. The picture might not be as clear as the PS3 (its close though) but I LOVE playing these shooting games with the Wii remote. ALOT more fun!

I was always a HUGE fan of PS systems untill I got my 360.. For the games that I play (racing games mainly) The graphics are so much better. We have a PS2, XBOX, 360 and Wii, and out of them all the 360 and Wii get the most use. I love the Wii for the most amount of fun per time spent playing. But it will take alot for me to replace my 360 when it comes to my racing games.

you have to get a 60gig ps3 its the only backwards compatable one. oh and they dont sell it brand new anymore
