What a let down - we didnt have ONE kid !!!!

How many kids did you guys get?

Wyatt Earp 10-31-2008 10:28 PM

I am too cheap to give out candy. Besides it is raining pretty hard here right now.

Dr. Evil 10-31-2008 10:36 PM

Thats kind of pitiful....sorry.

Jazz 10-31-2008 10:58 PM

Great night here mid 60's. We had about 70 kids. We have a lot of candy left. I think my wife said she got 15 bags of candy bars

Oilfield_Mafia 10-31-2008 11:08 PM

Can you believe not ONE kid came out to this rig to do trick or treating? geeze.. lol

greedygal 10-31-2008 11:28 PM

We had not trick or treaters :humm: not sure why?? But our boys did lots of trick or treating so we have LOTS of candy.....yay for me:argh:

wildbill 11-01-2008 12:13 AM

I was too busy working on my truck. Otherwise I'd a had 50-70 kids.

I was shocked this year. One porch light on our whole block was turned on and i haven't seen much of anything for decorations this year. I almost wonder if folks are to stressed to even think about celebratin much right now.

I didnt know they had Halloween in Canada :humm:

RSWORDS 11-01-2008 09:18 AM

If I had to guess I would say we had about 6 or 7 hundred kids.

We went to the fire house on Main Street to hand out candy :D

xzaq103 11-01-2008 09:45 AM

I don't think so. The way I look at it is this, my dogs would likely bite some kid because the blasted door bell would keep ringing - we had 2 groups come to the door even without the light on. Then there is the candy, buy it before hand and eat most of it myself or hand out some and eat the rest later. I love chocolate but I don't need it to tempt me.

We normally go to our farm for the big bon fire but it was raining too much for me to sit there and get wet.:moon::w2:

MrS_sLoWtOwPiG 11-01-2008 10:11 AM

we weren't home for trick or treaters, but our street is off the beaten path so I doubt we would've had any anyways...

the crazy neighbor lady counted 493. We invite a few friends over and have beer & margaritas while handing out cady, its the only thing I look forward to as a bonus as living in town. later on last night we had our DD take us to a buddies house and we proceeded to TP him:rocking:

2500HeavyDuty 11-01-2008 11:52 AM
